A hallmark of the new CashinEDGE HS is its speed. The 2,000 rpm blade speed makes it one of the industry’s fastest slicers and offers more than 60 drafts per minute.
Precision is another major feature of the recently introduced CashinEDGE HS. A servo-driven product feed system reduces backlash and provides precise control of the product as it is delivered to the blade, eliminating sliver slices. Meanwhile, an innovative Profile Sensor measures the product for accurate portioning and slice count control.
“The precision drive system optimizes the integrity of slices, which is key in bacon production,” said Bill Wight, VP of Engineering and New Product Development for Provisur Technologies. In addition, he notes, the precise drive system automatically maintains belt tension, thereby reducing the need for frequent adjustments.
The system is as easy to use as it is efficient. User-friendly touch-screen controls ensure overall optimal slicing presentation and quick product changeovers. Troubleshooting is simpler, too, thanks to descriptive diagnostic screens. Versatility is built into the system as well, as processors can choose a single or dual chambered card dispenser.
