A recent $6.1 million investment by Cargill to upgrade an aging boiler system at the company’s Plainview, Texas, beef processing facility has increased efficiency, reduced energy consumption and added steam capacity.
Jimmy Dean Breakfast Quesadillas are available in two varieties, Jimmy Dean Sausage Quesadilla with pork sausage and Jimmy Dean Delights Turkey Sausage Quesadilla.
For the quarter, the company had a net loss of $8.0 million, or $0.36 per share, compared with a net loss of $33.6 million, or $1.52 per share, for the first quarter of fiscal 2011.
"We are very pleased with our results for the year and we remain on track to deliver our earnings and margin growth for 2012 through 2015," said Michael H. McCain, president and CEO.
