FSIS has been working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health partners to investigate a multistate outbreak of 28 Salmonella Enteritidis illnesses.
Details of the original recall were updated to reflect additional date codes and an increase in product poundage from approximately 8,492,832 pounds to approximately 8,955,296 pounds.
Crystalline material, thin blue rubber, glass, hard white plastic, flexible rubber material, and small rocks. All of these items were found in meat or poultry products between May 2020 and May 2021, causing six recalls.
