 FSIS is issuing this public health alert to ensure that consumers with an allergy to wheat are aware that these products should not be consumed.

The recalled units of High Impact Plant Protein were shipped to customers who purchased High Impact Whey Protein from Power Life Nutrition’s website between Oct. 18, 2022, through Nov. 30, 2022.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in institutional or restaurant freezers. Restaurants and institutions are urged not to serve these products. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

The product contains shellfish (shrimp), a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

A recall was not requested because there is no product currently available for sale to consumers, but the ground beef product may remain in consumers’ homes and could cause illness if eaten.

Consumers who have purchased these products should be throw the products away or return them to the place of purchase.

The raw ground beef products may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically reflective mirror-like material.

The Mantu beef dumpling products did not have the USDA mark of inspection and were produced in an establishment that was not inspected by USDA.

Company announces recall because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
