Manda Fine Meats announced that it has sold its idle Baker, La., facility for $200,000 to investors who plan to develop an industrial manufacturing incubator in the building. The plant was closed in April 2013 following a recall due to the potential of Listeria monocytogenes in the deli meats produced there, reports the Associated Press.

Since then, Manda has farmed out the processing of deli and specialty meats to a network of out-of-state plants, said company CEO Bobby Yarborough.

Baton Rouge-based Manda sold the plant in a deal that closed earlier this week, according to records filed with the East Baton Rouge Parish clerk of court's office. The sale included a 15,000-square-foot building, a separate 6,000-square-foot warehouse and 11 acres of surrounding land. The buyer was Lincoln Park LLC. The company said that the food processing equipment has all been sold.
