Cargill Meat Solutions (Est. 700) is recalling Your Fresh Market brand ground beef products from the marketplace due to possible E. coli O157 contamination.  Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.

The recalled products that have been sold at Walmart stores in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan include Your Fresh Market brand extra lean ground beef sirloin, extra lean ground beef, medium ground beef and lean ground beef in various weights. This recall was triggered by test results. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled, the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.

The CFIA is verifying that industry is removing recalled product from the marketplace. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
