Treif groundbreakingThe traditional ground breaking marks the start of construction for the new TREIF customer center. A two story building with a total floor space of approx. 4000 square meters is to be completed by the end of 2015.

The new customer center will enable customers to experience TREIF’s broad range of food cutting technology. With approx. 400 employees worldwide TREIF is developing and manufacturing innovative machines, production lines and systems exclusively for cutting and slicing food. The new center will be used for displaying machines, test cuttings and training. It will also contain the sales and service departments to maintain close contact with customers. A special quality of the large construction project will be the “transparent production”. Large glass panels will enable visitors to watch work processes in the production area to provide them with an insight into the manufacturing of TREIF machines.

TREIF is investing an estimated 5.5 million Euro in the new building. The building will be connected via the new “Toni-Reifenhaeuser-Street”, which was named after the company founder and father of current owner and managing director Uwe Reifenhaeuser. “We want to expand and strengthen our customer focus with the new customer center,” Uwe Reifenhaeuser (in the middle) explains. The construction project is also an answer to TREIF´s continuous growth course.

The ground breaking ceremony was attended by representatives of the construction company and the planning office, by Production Manager Martin Selbach (front right), who manages the “new building” project, and by the managers of Sales, Service and the worldwide subsidiaries.
