A new online registration form is now available for the Meat Institute's Communicators Advocating Meat and Poultry (CAMP) program, a grassroots effort aimed at increasing the meat and poultry industry's communications with its customers and communities. The online form allows interested individuals to sign up instantly to receive CAMP updates, participate in free webinars and access and use helpful communications and educational resources.

CAMP webinars are free, one-hour educational sessions that offer training in social media, message development, interview techniques and public speaking. The webinars and in-person media training discuss strategies to effectively leverage these skills to engage media and communicate in civic or business settings. CAMP members may also download PowerPoint presentations, outreach letters and other materials to use in community, school and civic group discussions. There are currently more than 70 registered CAMP members.

Upcoming webinars include:

  • Blogging 101 - August 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. ET
