New Super Can Lube KW conveyor lubricant is ideal for food processing

Madison Chemical introduces Super Can Lube KW conveyor lubricant for food processing applications.  Unlike silicone emulsion products, Super Can Lube KW contains no water and does not require water for dilution, so it reduces the risk of microbial growth while reducing belt drag.  This completely waterless formulation keeps dry areas dry, can be used in areas with or without floor drains, and it greatly reduces effluent emissions.  It provides excellent lubricity without the sticky or gummy residue that are common with silicone emulsion lubricants, and is easily cleaned with water.  Super Can Lube KW is acceptable for use in food and beverage plants as an H1 lubricant with incidental contact, and is well suited for use as a protective anti-rust film, as a release agent on gaskets or seals of tank enclosures, and as a lubricant for machine parts and equipment in locations where there is exposure of the lubricated part to food.  It is an ideal lubricant for conveyors where smooth transition of bottles, cans, containers, other food and beverage processing applications is necessary.

A clear liquid with a specific gravity of 1.12, Super Can Lube KW is used at full strength and applied by drip, dip, roller, spray or similar suitable methods.  Typical feed rate is 50 to 500 ml per hour, depending upon system.  These very low feed rates translate directly into very low usage costs, especially as compared to other food grade dry lubricants.

Madison Chemical is a chemical formulator which provides cleaning, sanitation, maintenance and surface preparation products for the pulp & paper, metalworking, food processing, industrial maintenance, transportation, wastewater treatment, craft brewery, winery, and other industries.  Since 1947 they have served customers worldwide from their Madison, IN headquarters and through a nationwide network of direct technical sales representatives.  For additional information visit www.madchem.com, call (812) 273-6000 or email solutions@madchem.com.
