A Pennsylvania couple has settled a federal lawsuit over worms that they claimed were in a package of beef jerky. Rhonda and Karl Hoffman of Winfield, Pa., originally filed the suit after buying a package of Jack Link’s beef jerky from a Walmart store in 2015. Rhonda Hoffman stated that she noticed the worms after eating some of the jerky, reports The Daily Item.

According to the article, the lawsuit was filed against Link Snacks, makers of the jerky, and Walmart. Hoffman sought unspecified damages claiming after she ate the jerky she developed psychological issues, has had problems sleeping at night and has issues eating certain foods. The couple also canceled a planned honeymoon trip due to her mental distress.
