Duravant names Amanda Peters as Marketing Communications Manager

By Industry News
January 25, 2018

Duravant, a global engineered equipment manufacturer serving the food processing, packaging and material handling sectors, announced today that Amanda Peters has been named Marketing Communications Manager. Peters will lead all corporate marketing communications activities, including tradeshows, advertising, public relations, content and digital marketing.  Peters will also work closely with the marketing teams at Duravant’s operating companies: Arpac, Fischbein, Hamer-Fischbein, Mespack, FMH Conveyors, Marlen International and Ohlson Packaging.

“I was attracted to Duravant’s highly experienced and transparent leadership team as well as their focus on dynamic growth,” Peters said. “I look forward to assisting Duravant and its operating companies in achieving and exceeding goals, and helping to position the Duravant brand as the worldwide leader in innovative and reliable engineered equipment.”

Eleni Yianas, Vice President of Marketing for Duravant, said, “We are thrilled to have Amanda join the Duravant team.  Her mix of client-side and agency experience brings a unique perspective to our  global marketing initiatives. She will prove to be an asset as we expand our brand during this exciting time in Duravant’s growth.”

Peters brings over 12 years of experience in marketing and advertising, most recently serving in the roles of Senior Brand Activist and Senior Account Manager for Esrock Partners, a foodservice marketing agency. While at Esrock, Peters worked with brands such as Tyson Foods, High Liner Foods, McCain Foods and General Mills on overall communications plans focused on brand strategy, positioning, research, and content marketing. Prior to Esrock, Peters led the marketing efforts for Eby-Brown, a wholesale distributor to the convenience store industry.

Peters graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising/Communications and resides in New Lenox, Illinois.

Drawing from her prior experience in brand marketing coupled with an understanding of agency processes and strategy, Peters is a well-rounded addition to the Duravant team.
