Kiolbassa Smoked Meats, producer of authentic, slow-crafted smoked meats, announced the appointment of Dan Marshall as the company’s Vice President of Supply Chain. Marshall has more than 20 years of experience in the grocery industry, including more than a decade of experience in meat procurement at H-E-B Grocery Stores.

“Dan brings with him vast experience in meat procurement, which is of strategic importance to our company as it continues to grow.” says Michael Kiolbassa, President of Kiolbassa Smoked Meats. “His leadership and expertise comes at a pivotal time for our company as we expand our footprint while continuing to offer the authentic, quality product that consumers have come to expect from Kiolbassa.”

Kiolbassa has operated at its San Antonio headquarters since its founding in 1949. For many years, the company focused on the production of small-batch smoked sausage products. Recently, the company added dry-cured bacon to its product offering and recently began national distribution of their chorizo product. Today, Kiolbassa Smoked Meats can be purchased in retailers across the nation as well as in Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Marshall holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Secondary Education degree from Abilene Christian University.
