NEGRO LEAGUE BASEBALL MUSEUM:

Founded in 1990, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) is a privately funded, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the rich history of African-American Baseball. Experience a tour of multi-media displays, museum store, hundreds of photographs, and artifacts dating from the late 1800’s through the 1960’s. The NLBM opened it’s permanent 10,000 square foot facility in 1997 sharing the new 18th and Vine museum complex with the American Jazz Museum. www.nlbm.com

 

THE AMERICAN JAZZ MUSEUM:

The sights and sounds of a uniquely American art form come alive at the American Jazz Museum. The Museum includes interactive exhibits and educational programs as well as the Blue Room, a working jazz club, and the Gem Theater, a modern 500-seat performing arts center. Located in the 18th & Vine Historic Jazz District in Kansas City, this is the place where jazz masters such as Charlie Parker, Count Basie, Big Joe Turner, and hundreds of others defined the sounds of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s. www.americanjazzmuseum.org

 

THE COLLEGE BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE:

A world class entertainment facility connected to Sprint Center by the Grand Lobby, is two floors and 41,500 square feet of basketball exuberance.
