MULTIVAC taps two industry veterans for key management roles

By Industry News
July 2, 2018

Continuing the succession plan that resulted from the recent appointments of Matt Malott to President/CEO and Jim Campbell to Chairman of the Board, MULTIVAC Inc. chooses two industry veterans for new and important roles.

Pat Hughes named new Vice President Sales & Marketing
On July 1st 2018, Pat will fill the role of Vice President Sales & Marketing.  Pat is a 28 year veteran of MULTIVAC, starting his career there in 1990. He has been highly successful in previous roles as Regional Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, and since 2014 as the Northeast Region Sales Director. Pat’s industry experience and leadership skills ensure a continuation of robust annual sales performance in the US market. Reflecting on his long career Pat said, “Working for MULTIVAC has changed my life and it is a great honor to be leading the Sales & Marketing efforts that will make a positive impact on our sales professionals and customers alike.”

“It was extremely important that we place a strong, experienced leader in the role of Vice President Sales & Marketing. Pat brings a tremendous amount of passion and expertise to this position, two things MULTIVAC is known for in the US,” stated Matt Malott. “Pat’s comprehensive knowledge, and industry connections will allow him to seamlessly transition into this expanded role.”

Bob Koch named new Northeast Region Sales Director
Bob joined MULTIVAC as a Regional Sales Manager in December of 2000, bringing over 20 years of industry knowledge with him. He was quickly promoted in August 2001 to Director of Sales Administration. From 2003 – 2013, Bob focused on Food Sales as the Sales Director.  Since 2013, Bob has led the development and growth of the Medical and Pharmaceutical markets for MULTIVAC US, as the MCI Sales Director. On July 1st, Bob will move back to his roots in the food side of the business as the Northeast Region Sales Director. Bob has embraced this new challenge stating, “I am very much looking forward to once again be working with our food customers. Having started my career in the food processing and packaging world, this is an exciting challenge and great opportunity to lead one of our Food Sales teams.”

“At MULTIVAC it is a true luxury to have such a deep team of seasoned veterans, which allows us to quickly fill very crucial positions from within”, said Pat Hughes. “Bob provides exceptional knowledge of our product lines and unmatched business acumen.  It is a great pleasure to have him assume this important role in our Northeast Region. I know that with Bob in place, neither our sales team nor customers will miss a single beat.”
