Rockford Systems announces headquarters relocation to accommodate rapid growth and expansion

By Industry News

October 29, 2018

To accommodate rapid growth and future expansion, Rockford Systems LLC., a premier provider of machine safeguarding products, safety education and industrial safety services, has announced it is moving its headquarters into a new, larger facility located at 5795 Logistics Parkway in Rockford, IL. The relocation, which is expected to be completed in January 2019, will offer employees an improved, state-of-the-art workspace to deliver expanded training, manufacturing and customer support, while providing the company with operational efficiencies and a larger footprint for future growth in a thriving business environment.

Established in 1971, Rockford Systems has operated continuously in Rockford for over 45 years. Today's announcement reaffirms the ongoing importance of the company's presence in Rockford, as well as its strong willingness to invest in the local community. The majority of its employees live in the Rockford area and several key customers are located nearby, including leaders in the aerospace, tool making and metal fabrication industries.

Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara expressed his appreciation for the company's loyalty. "We thank Rockford Systems for its continued ironclad commitment to Rockford, Illinois, and for providing local employment, community leadership and fostering business growth."

According to Joe Nitiss, CEO of Rockford Systems LLC, the new headquarters will expand the company's product development, production efficiencies, training capabilities, and overall customer satisfaction: "We look forward to this next exciting chapter in our growth and to welcoming our employees, customers and partners to our new headquarters facility. The diversity of our products and services is a real strength for Rockford Systems in the current industrial safety climate. Our new building will enable us to deliver even higher levels of service excellence for our customers, provide a world-class training and education experience, expand our innovation and operational efficiencies, plus better attract and retain talent."

Importantly, Nitiss sees the move as a bridge into the future expansion of the company's machine safeguarding and industrial safety training programs. "For more than 45 years, Rockford Systems has taught people in positions of responsibility how to safeguard their machines to meet complex OSHA/ANSI/RIA/NFPA safety standards and to prevent injuries. Now we are creating the necessary space in a modern headquarters that will foster an interactive, more immersive learning environment.

Located next to the Chicago Rockford International Airport, the new building provides Rockford Systems with broadened capacity for manufacturing, customer support, engineering, sales, and leadership functions. Rockford Systems has demonstrated tremendous growth over the past three years, and 2018 is on track to be the company's most successful year to date.
