TSC Auto ID presents first color printer series at LogiMAT 2019

Releasing the new CPX4 series TSC Auto ID is setting new standards in the market once again. The advanced digital label printing solution for the cost-effective “color printing on demand” consists of the models CPX4D and CPX4P. The easy to use all-rounders distinguish themselves by an excellent printing resolution, a brilliant color quality and low costs for consumables and per printed page. Printing at 300 mm/s they offer the fastest printing speed in their class.

The two printers mainly differ on the ink type. While the CPX4D uses so called water-based Dye-Ink for printing universally useable blank labels, the colorfulness with the CPX4P is caused by colored pigments in the ink.

The excellent printing resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi allows the precise and brilliant printing of colored pictures, barcodes and text on labels with a width up to 120 mm. The CPX4 series supports label rolls with an outside diameter up to 7.9” (200 mm) and an inside diameter of 3” (76 mm). Therefore, the time necessary for changing the material is reduced while the productivity in the labelling process is increased. The precise printing of small labels 25.4 mm (width) x 6 mm (length) is enabled by modern sensor technology and reliable media handling.

Due to TSC’s innovative line printhead technology the printers offer a high printing speed up to 300 mm/s – being the fastest of their category. Even complex or big volumes of data can be transmitted rapidly with USB 2.0 and Ethernet.

The flexibly usable all-rounders use high-quality printer cartridges. They offer an ink capacity of 240 ml each and ensure a high yield in the printing progress. Using the new CPX4 series the printing costs can be reduced significantly throughout the printers’ lifetime – an important economical aspect.

The innovative models are accompanied by TSC’s proven all around support including the TSC Color Management Program which allows for high-quality printing of information and pictures that are clear and accurate. Users also profit from TSC’s Cost Calculation Service specifically calculating the costs of a printing project per page and the estimated ROI.

The CPX4 series contain the advanced BarTender UltraLite software by default enabling the easy layout of individual designs. That way, design changes can be implemented quickly, and variable data can be printed on the label easily. The users are able to react swiftly to law changes or individual customer requirements or to support single marketing campaigns with short-run labels – starting from printing only one label to thousands of them.

TSC Auto ID offers a large range of consumables perfectly matched with the printing system for an ideal outcome. The various labeling material is available in many designs and is universally usable. All labels are examined thoroughly and can be delivered in short time.
