TSCs new top-of-the-range innovations

By Industry News
TSC color printer
August 14, 2019

At LabelExpo Europe in Brussels, Belgium, TSC Auto ID will be exhibiting in hall 7 at booth 7A44 as one of the worldwide leading suppliers of complete solutions for the barcode labelling sector. Highlights are TSCs advanced digital color printer series CPX4 as well as its new high-performance industrial ML240P series. Additionally, TSCs brand-new mobile printers of TDM series will celebrate their debut at the show.

The advanced digital label printing solution for the cost-effective “color printing on demand” consists of the models CPX4D (Dye Ink) and CPX4P (Pigment Ink). The easy to use all-rounders distinguish themselves by an excellent print and color quality and low costs for consumables and per printed page.

Printing at 300 mm/s they offer the fastest printing speed in their class. And thanks to the innovative color management program and a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi both models allow the precise and brilliant printing of colored pictures, barcodes and text on labels with a width up to 120 mm. Users also profit from TSC’s Cost Calculation Service specifically calculating the costs of a printing project per page and the estimated ROI.

The flexible CPX4 series supports label rolls with an outside diameter up to 7.9” and an inside diameter of 3”. Therefore, the time necessary for changing the material is reduced while the productivity in the labelling process is increased. The precise printing of small labels 25.4 mm (width) x 6 mm (length) is enabled by latest sensor technology and reliable media handling.

In Brussels, TSC is also exhibiting its new generation of industrial high-performance label printers. The ML240P series impresses with compact design, strong connectivity and high versatility while being extremely economical and efficient. The range of applications is not limited for these models - the printers can be used in warehousing and logistics including goods in and despatch to manufacturing as well as for product- and shelf-labelling in retail and labelling of sample tubes and patient wristbands in the health sector.

Both available thermal transfer printers, ML240P as well as ML340P, are equipped with a clear color display ensuring a high operating comfort. The intelligent combination of solid metal housing including media spindle, modularized base and modern printing technology enables a permanently steady, low-noise and at the same time highly efficient operation. The adjustable long-life thermal printhead and self-diagnostic TPH Care mechanism ensure optimal print quality with various label materials.

For the first time, TSC presents its brand-new mobile barcode printer line, the TDM series. Due to the lightweight, durable and flexible design, coupled with modern interfaces, comprehensive sensors and latest firmware both models are perfectly suited for retail & mobile point of sale applications. With the TDM-20 1130 mAh and TDM-30 3080 mAh battery, workers can use the printers for an entire shift without downtime.

Another important focus of TSCs exhibition stand in hall 7 is the programmable print engine PEX-1000 series. The six models are setting new standards in terms of reliability, flexibility, performance and durability. They combine a precision print mechanism with high performance electronics including a wide variety of modern sensors to produce even smallest labels with a height of 5 mm with the fastest print speed in its class. This reliable application control in labelling process by TSCs intelligent TSPL EZD firmware is unique in the market.

Additionally, TSC is showcasing its value leader for 4" wide light industrial label printing. The innovative MB series impress with outstanding features as regards the print quality, connectivity and flexibility. Their reliable print mechanism supports 8“ O.D. label rolls up to 120 mm label width and 450 meter ribbon capacity.

The sophisticated TSC show appearance is complemented with a wide selection of consumables perfectly matching with the printing systems for an ideal outcome. The various labeling material such as universally usable ribbons, labels, receipt paper and wristbands is available in many designs. All materials are examined thoroughly and can be delivered in short time.
