Sarah J. Bohnenkamp, emcee of the 2025 Protein PACT Solutions Summit.

August 18, 2025

The Meat Institute is announcing Sarah J. Bohnenkamp as the emcee of the 2025 Protein PACT Solutions Summit, taking place Oct. 8-10 in Los Angeles.

Bohnenkamp is a leadership coach, communicator and strategist who made her mark in the beef industry by helping people and organizations take on tough challenges with courage and clarity. At the summit, she’ll bring the same energy to the stage—not just introducing speakers, but weaving connections across sessions, surfacing key themes and sparking real-time reflection.

A message from Bohnenkamp:

Hello, I’m Sarah J. Bohnenkamp, and I am beyond excited to be your emcee for the Protein PACT Solutions Summit.

My background isn’t just in agriculture—it's in trailblazing epic conversations, developing leaders and helping organizations make a real-world impact. While I may have stepped into the C-suite of the beef industry without a traditional ag background, my passion is for empowering people and tackling tough challenges in communication, leadership and sustainability. My promise to you is to bring all of that experience and energy to the summit stage.

My job isn’t just to introduce speakers—it’s to connect the dots. I’m here to help drive conversations that matter, creating bridges between ideas and action, between people across the supply chain and between the sessions themselves. The meat industry is being asked to evolve, and people are our greatest opportunity. This summit is where solutions take root, and I’m here to move the room in that direction.

Momentum matters, and my philosophy is to keep our experience cohesive and high impact from the first welcome to the final takeaway. I’ll keep the rhythm tight, ask the tough questions and make sure every person in the room feels like they are part of the solution. This is not a scripted show; it's a real conversation with a diversity of voices, and my goal is to facilitate an environment where we can all engage, collaborate and make meaning of the information we receive.

What I hope you take away from this event is fresh energy, real-world solutions and a new connection or two that sparks something powerful. Most importantly, I hope you leave with a sense of belonging. The Protein PACT is a team effort, and we need every voice. As I prepare for the event, I’ll be meeting with speakers and sharing some behind the scenes looks with you to get you inspired and ready to participate.

My advice to you before you arrive is to set your targets. You can't hit what you haven't defined. Show up curious, be present, and talk to new people. Close your inbox and say yes to the dinner invite. Use every drop of this moment, because it won't come again. I can’t wait to be there to serve you, amplify your experience, and help us all turn purpose into progress.

Register today to join us at the Solutions Summit and let’s make an epic impact together.
