Mettler Toledo Product Inspection Group is presenting a wide range of product inspection equipment at Pack Expo Las Vegas, being held Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At booth W-2122, Mettler Toledo will highlight X-ray, metal detection, vision and checkweighing systems designed to improve product safety, enhance quality and increase operational efficiencies while meeting evolving regulatory requirements for food.
"Manufacturers are facing a perfect storm of rising consumer expectations, stricter safety mandates and mounting pressure to avoid damaging recalls," said Tom Koshy, national sales director at Mettler Toledo Product Inspection. "At the same time, diverse packaging formats, variations in product density and complex contaminants create challenges that demand best-in-class inspection capabilities.
"Our technology helps customers can reach their production goals while giving them the confidence that every product leaving their facility meets their quality standards. Plus, with integrated Industry 4.0 connectivity, manufacturers gain real-time monitoring and data collection for stronger compliance and continuous improvement.”
At Pack Expo Las Vegas 2025, Mettler Toledo will showcase a brand-new X-ray inspection system for bulk flow applications. Designed to identify contaminants such as glass, stone, bone and high-density plastics and rubber, this system inspects product early in the process to reduce waste and protect downstream equipment.
Other X-ray systems on exhibit include the X16, X32, X36 DXD+ and X52. The X16 is an entry-level solution for medium- to large-sized products, while the X32 offers more advanced sensitivity for small and medium packages. The X36 DXD+ provides detection of hard-to-find contaminants such as calcified bone in overlapping products, and the X52 dual-energy X-ray system delivers strong detection capabilities.
Combination systems will also take center stage at the show, including the CM checkweigher and metal detector, CV35 checkweigher and vision system and CX33 checkweigher and X-ray inspection system. Mettler Toledo’s mix-and-match portfolio enables customers to pair a variety of their solutions, such as any checkweigher with any X-ray model. Combination systems are available for various budgets and in multiple configurations including an all-in-one checkweigher/vision/X-ray/metal detector system.

For vision inspection, Mettler Toledo will display a V31 with integrated print inspection to verify labels immediately after printing. The V31 checks graphics, 1D and 2D codes and alphanumeric characters to prevent labeling errors. Also on exhibit will be the V35 system for high-speed inspection of round containers and the V57 for contamination detection and formation inspection of rigid plastic containers.
Additionally, the booth will feature a wide range of metal detectors. The M31 will be shown on the SL1000 conveyor for small and medium-sized packages of dry, wet and frozen products. A Profile Advantage system will be integrated with a conveyor designed for the meat and protein industries. Also on exhibit will be a Gravity Flow metal detector with Automatic Test System, a Profile Advantage pipeline system and the Tablex-PRO paired with a CroPharm deduster.
Mettler Toledo will also showcase a C35 washdown checkweigher designed for harsh environments. The C35 offers high-precision weighing at fast speeds with full IP69 rating, making it suitable for high-pressure cleaning with caustic detergents.
Virtually all systems on exhibit will be connected to Mettler Toledo’s ProdX software, which enables remote monitoring and data collection across inspection equipment.
