'MeatEater' with Steven Rinella returns for 13th season
Hosted by outdoorsman and conservationist Steven Rinella, the seven-episode season spans remote American backcountry and a first venture to Africa.

Outdoor lifestyle and media brand MeatEater announces that its flagship TV series "MeatEater" will premiere its 13th season Oct. 20, 2025, exploring the meat trade.
Hosted by outdoorsman and conservationist Steven Rinella, the seven-episode season spans remote American backcountry and a first venture to Africa, where Rinella explores local conservation efforts, hunting traditions and the meat trade. Viewers will see everything from coastal spearfishing in Louisiana, to black bear hunting Alaska, turkey hunting in Texas and the pursuit of Cape Buffalo in Tanzania. Special guests include country music stars Luke Combs and Evan Felker of the Turnpike Troubadours.
“Every hunt has a story worth telling. This season, we’ve got new places, new faces, and the same respect for the wild that’s guided me since I was a kid. Whether you’re a hunter or just curious about the natural world, there’s something here for you,” said Rinella, founder and host of MeatEater. “Season 13 pushes the boundaries of where we’ve been and what we’ve done. From sharing a kitchen with Luke Combs, to tracking dangerous game in Africa, this season is about adventure, curiosity, and respect for the land and animals that feed us.”
MeatEater Season 13, sponsored by Can-Am and Ram Trucks, will premiere simultaneously on Outdoor Channel, MyOutdoorTV, MeatEater’s YouTube channel (@MeatEaterTV) and The MeatEater Channel, the company’s 24-hour free ad-supported streaming television offering.
Viewers can now access The MeatEater Channel via Samsung TV Plus. This move expands MeatEater’s growing connected TV distribution lineup, which already includes Amazon Prime, Sling TV, DirecTV, Roku, Tubi and Vizio.
“MeatEater is thrilled to be expanding our video portfolio to Samsung TV Plus, which offers us the opportunity to inspire millions of new fans to go explore wild places,” said Andrew Barge, chief content officer at MeatEater. “Our mission has always been to connect people to nature, whether through hunting, fishing, a shared meal, or an inspiring story. Samsung TV Plus – one of the biggest streaming platforms in the country – represents a meaningful step in fulfilling that purpose.”
