Formost Fuji Corp., a manufacturer of packaging equipment, is announcing the appointment of Grant Wachob as controller. Wachob joined Formost Fuji in December 2025, bringing with him more than a decade of experience in accounting, finance and leadership within publicly traded organizations.

Wachob earned his bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from Central Washington University in 2014, and most recently completed his Master of Business Administration with a focus in leadership from the University of Kansas in 2025. His educational background, combined with his hands-on financial leadership experience, position him well to support Formost Fuji’s continued growth and long-term success.

Prior to joining Formost Fuji, Wachob spent five years at Karman Space & Defense, where he advanced from financial analyst to controller. During his tenure, he played a key role in helping guide the company through its successful transition to a publicly traded organization in February 2025.

“What drew me to Formost Fuji was the opportunity to return to a smaller company with strong family values,” said Wachob. “Seeing how many employees have spent the majority of their careers here, spoke volumes about how people are treated and the culture the company has built. Since day one, everyone has been incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I’m excited to be part of the team.”

As controller, Wachob is responsible for overseeing Formost Fuji’s financial operations, strengthening financial controls and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

“Grant brings a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and cultural alignment,” said Dennis Gunnell, president for Formost Fuji Corp. “We’re excited to have him on our team and confident he will be a valuable asset to Formost Fuji as we continue to grow.”
