USPOULTRY Hatchery-Breeder Clinic to highlight innovation, flock performance
Attendees gain practical insights they can apply directly to improve flock performance, hatchability and operational efficiency while exchanging knowledge with peers and industry experts.

The US Poultry & Egg Association is hosting its 2026 Hatchery-Breeder Clinic July 8-9, 2026, in Nashville, Tenn. The annual clinic brings together hatchery and breeder managers and other industry professionals to discuss the latest strategies, technologies and operational practices impacting breeder and hatchery performance.
Educational sessions will cover leadership and operational excellence, pullet brooding and rearing, feather scoring, feeding today’s hens and pullets, hatchery key performance indicators, cleaning tools and sanitation practices, biosecurity, avian metapneumovirus updates, and egg handling and storage practices and the effects on embryo development. The clinic will also highlight new technologies and equipment for breeder houses and hatcheries, including male chain feeders and added hen feeder space, community nests, hatchery planning and innovations.
Attendees will gain practical insights they can apply directly to improve flock performance, hatchability and operational efficiency while exchanging knowledge with peers and industry experts.
