WASHINGTON – American Meat Institute (AMI) President J. Patrick Boyle on Wednesday announced organizational changes to enhance the group’s effectiveness.

AMI Senior Vice President of Convention, Administration and Member Services Ronald Nunnery will become the organization’s chief financial officer.   Nunnery has served AMI for 18 years.

Vice President of Convention and Member Services Anne Halal will focus her efforts exclusively on the Institute’s convention and exposition, assuming Nunnery’s previous responsibilities in this area.   In her new position as vice president of convention and exposition services, she also becomes the liaison to the AMI’s Supplier Committee. Halal joined AMI in 2001.

AMI Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Professional Development Janet Riley assumes the new title of senior vice president of public affairs and member services. In addition to her long-standing public affairs responsibilities, she will engage in new member outreach efforts. Riley joined AMI in 1991.

Susan Hogan, manager of international affairs, assumes new responsibility as the Institute’s director of administration. Hogan joined AMI in 2003.

“These changes will position AMI to serve the members effectively,” Boyle said. “I am pleased that by presenting our dedicated team of professionals with new challenges, we have retained our staff for long periods of service during which they have continued to make significant contributions to AMI and the industry.”
