Steve Bucher has been named market research specialist. He has been with the company since 1984, starting as a service technician. Phil Zahm has been promoted to inside sales representative. He has been with the company since 1984 and has held numerous positions. John Johnson has been named engineering manager. He started with Shuttleworth in 1989 as a mechanical design engineer.
Frutarom USA Inc. has named Michael Britten-Kelly, Ph.D., as vice president, research and development. The R&D team will continue its focus on improving and creating new product offerings in the food and dietary supplement categories. Additionally, Tim Gilstron has been promoted to vice president, corporate sales and business manager, Division #2. That division covers aroma chemicals, citrus products and other products from Israel, Swiss Distillates and the United Kingdom.
Pro Mach’s Ossid Division has named Fran Ventura vice president of sales for its MH product line of thermoforming, vacuum, modified atmosphere and ambient packaging solutions. He has 25 years of experience in horizontal form, fill and seal equipment and has designed and patented several machine innovations in that market.
Anchor Packaging has appointed Don Brockman national account manager, foodservice. The company is planning to launch new and innovative foodservice products in 2006. Anchor also named Andy Rikand director of information technology. He will oversee the implementation of a new ERP system, along with all IT activities.
Aleco, a manufacturer of PVC strip and impact doors, announced that John Keddie has been hired as national sales manager for Aleco Food Service. He has more than 25 years of experience in the door and loading dock industry, and he specializes in the setup and development of distribution networks.
