CFS has announced that Sid Adkins has joined the company’s sales staff. He has more than 20 years of experience in the food industry, spanning plant operations, capital equipment sales, and facility construction. He will be responsible for CFS’ sales in the Southeast region.

Tony Renger, former director of supply chain management at Alkar, has joined Simply Manufacturing, Prairie du Sac, WI. His focus will be to develop a direct-sales and marketing channel to meat processors, including developing design engineering support to meet processors’ customized needs. Simply Manufacturing is a supplier of meat processing accessories, trees, trucks, cages, screens, meat sticks, and other custom-fabricated equipment.

Brian Samuels has been named president and chief operating officer of Vector Packaging. He joined Vector in 2001 as a senior vice president. His role in product business development at Vector has led to the Enhance™ Series of SmokeKote and ColorKote casings.
