It was announced by the board of directors of Lubriplate Lubricants Co. that Stephen A. Morrow was appointed vice president-sales of the company. Morrow joined Lubriplate in 1973 as district sales manager immediately after receiving an undergraduate business degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. Since 2003, he has served as the company’s director of synthetic sales and national sales manager. He is based at the company’s headquarters in Newark, N.J.
Dr. Scott Nykaza of Kalamazoo, Mich. has been named as the new executive vice president of sales and marketing, for Kalsec, Inc. Nykaza replaces Gary Hainrihar, who has been appointed executive vice president, business development for Kalsec. In this newly developed role, Hainrihar will oversee the Hops Products business unit, development of the nutritional products, and market development in Latin American and Asia. Nykaza is charged with developing and leading strategy and execution for sales and marketing at Kalsec.
Andrew Armstrong joins CSB-System International as a director of business solutions for the non-meat markets. Andrew has over 11 years in the high-tech sales industry, with over seven years at a large data collection integrator, specializing in inventory and bar code related solutions. John Bourbonniere joins CSB as a consultant based in our offices in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. John is a recent graduate of the Honours Batchelor of Business Administration Co-Op program at Wilfrid Laurier University.
Dan Blackshear, president of Sales & Marketing for Butterball, LLC, has announced his retirement from the company after a 38-year history in the poultry industry. His retirement will take effect before the end of 2007. Butterball, LLC was formed in October 2006 when Carolina Turkeys acquired the Butterball brand from Con Agra Foods. Prior to the acquisition, Blackshear was president and CEO of Carolina Turkeys.
Gainco, Inc., a manufacturer of scales, automated sorting and other yield enhancement systems for the meat, poultry and food processing industries, announces that Joseph Cowman has joined the company as vice president and general manager. In this position, Cowman is responsible for all activities pertaining to day-to-day company management and P&L accountability, as well as being part of Gainco’s strategic management team.
Cattle-Fax has announced the return of Mike Miller in the capacity of chief operating officer. As COO, Miller will lead efforts to expand the quantity and quality of data collected from Cattle-Fax members, as well as remodeling the entire Cattle-Fax data collection, benchmarking and reporting systems. Miller will also direct Cattle-Fax’s newly created Customized Business Solutions division.
