Newly Weds Foods Inc. has purchased the industrial food coating business of Tukwila, WA. based Continental Mills Inc. for an undisclosed sum. The business is primarily comprised of starch and flour based coatings & batters for potato and poultry application as well as other protein and vegetable type substrates. The transaction includes a 55,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located in Pendleton, OR. and other assets associated directly with this specific business.
