Marel enters exclusive partnership with Risco
Marel Townsend Further Processing hasannounced a unique partnership with Risco USA. According to Bob Damstetter, Vice President for Marel Townsend Further Processing, the partnership makes Risco the sole supplier of vacuum fillers to Marel and is based on offering best solutions to Marel systems customers.
The Townsend machines equipped with Risco vacuum fillers include RevoPortioner, MasterFormer, MasterLink, iLinker, TurboTwist PRO, NL Linkers and QX systems.
“Major technological advances have resulted from the two companies working closely together,” said Damstetter. “We can guarantee the performance of Marel systems when connected to Risco vacuum fillers.”
The alliance between Marel Townsend Further Processing and Risco in the USA builds on a basic cooperation agreement established seven years ago.
“It is the result of beneficial synergies between the two companies,” said Paolo Righele, General Manager for Risco S.P.A. “It leverages people, skills and operating assets to create advanced technological solutions.”
