This committee advises the U.S. secretary of agriculture on matters affecting the Food Safety and Inspection Service's inspection program activities, including food safety policies that will contribute to USDA's regulatory policy development.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is soliciting nominations for membership to the National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection (NACMPI).
The NACMPI meets on food safety concerns and advises the Secretary of Agriculture on matters affecting federal and state inspection program activities.
