Prime Equipment Group to support FoodCraft line with OEM parts, service & re-engineered new machinery

By Industry News
September 4, 2014

Prime Equipment Group is pleased to announce that it will now supply OEM parts and service for existing FoodCraft poultry processing machinery, along with sales and re-engineering of new machines based on the FoodCraft line, thanks to a new partnership between the two companies.

“FoodCraft has a great history of building quality poultry processing machines, and Prime is proud to bring existing service and new sales of the brand under the Prime Equipment Group umbrella,” said Joe Gasbarro, Prime Equipment Group’s President. “We want to be sure that processors with existing FoodCraft machines know they can get what they need from Prime Equipment Group, and we’re proud to continue evolving the FoodCraft line going forward.”

Machine and parts construction will be overseen from Prime’s Columbus, Ohio, headquarters, ensuring a reliable and efficient supply chain to existing and new customers, Gasbarro said.

The new partnership between the companies is good news for processors, given the wide install base of FoodCraft machinery, said FoodCraft President Mike Curtis.

“We’re pleased to partner with Prime Equipment Group to exceed our existing and new customers’ needs,” Curtis said. “Prime’s history of outstanding customer service and reliable and innovative engineering make this a win-win for our two companies, and, more importantly, for the hundreds of poultry processors who rely on FoodCraft quality machinery everyday.”

In addition to working with existing machine operators, Prime Equipment Group will be re-engineering and updating machines in the FoodCraft line for new-machine sales.

“Nothing stands still in this industry, and it’s exciting to re-engineer FoodCraft machinery to bring new levels of safety, reliability and production to the product line,” said Prime Equipment Group CEO Mike Gasbarro. “These new machine offerings complement Prime Equipment Group’s expanding line of simple solutions for the poultry industry, and allow us to offer complete solutions deeper into the plant than ever before.”
