Colby Mellor appointed vice president of live operations for Norbest
Norbest, a leading foodservice and retail turkey processor recently named Colby Mellor as Vice President of Live Operations. The announcement was made by Norbest CEO, Matt Cook.
Previous to this appointment, Mellor was Superintendent for Norbest’s primary processing plant in Moroni, Utah. He will now be responsible for the overall live production efforts including expansion projects, hub brooding operations, company farms and hatch to slaughter schedule and coordination.
“We’re proud to recognize Colby’s hard work at Norbest” stated Cook. “His strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of our business will continue to make him a valuable asset to our company.”
Mellor is a city councilman for Wales Town and studied business management at University of Phoenix. He holds a certification of quality construction management with the USACE (United States Army Core of Engineers), an E-100 general engineering license and a B-100 general building license.
