In early 2015, al fresco will add to its freezer aisle offerings with the launch of better-for-you, all natural Fully Cooked Chicken Patties. These will be available in gourmet flavors like Roasted Pepper & Asiago, Spinach & Feta, and Charbroiled – Lightly Seasoned with Sea Salt. al fresco has proven success of better-for-you products into the freezer aisle in April 2014 with the launch of its Gourmet Grillers. Since then, al fresco has also launched Frozen Gourmet Meatballs and Frozen Breakfast Chicken Sausage. These new frozen lines have been increasingly popular with consumers and are authorized at more than 6,000 stores nationwide — it is expected that al fresco frozen shipments will exceed 3.5 million pounds in 2015. The new Fully Cooked Chicken Patties have 50% less fat than traditional beef patties. The all-natural frozen chicken patties are gluten-free, contain no artificial ingredients, and come fully-cooked in a resealable pouch.
