Norbest eyes long-term growth by welcoming Jason Dobis as fresh sales manager
Norbest, an association of western turkey growers dedicated to providing exceptional products to the foodservice and retail industries, is proud to welcome Jason Dobis as their new Fresh Sales Manager. Dobis brings with him 30 years of sales and marketing experience, having helped some of the biggest names in the food industry increase revenues and market share.
Most recently, Dobis was the principal owner of McGregor Marketing and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Rite Stuff Foods where he spearheaded sales, strategic planning and product development. He also spent 13 years with ConAgra Foods as Director of Sales for the Western Region.
Dobis is destined to fit in well at Norbest, a producer of top-quality turkey products, and a company steeped in tradition, commitment to family, hard work, innovation and corporate citizenship. His primary focus will be to elevate the Company’s new ground turkey product line, developed specifically to expand sales and profits while making the Norbest brand more relevant to the retail industry and consumers alike.
“With his exceptional client relations skills, plus expertise in budget management, sales forecasting, market research, and broker management, we know Jason will be successful in his new position,” says Robert Wangerien, Norbest’s Senior VP of Sales and Marketing.
Dobis earned his B.S. in Marketing at the University of South Florida and his M.B.A. at Tampa College.
