Edison Awards delivers silver for food technology leader Aseptia
For a second consecutive year, pioneering food technology company Aseptia was named an award winner at the internationally renowned Edison Awards, achieving silver. On April 21 in New York, the leadership team accepted its distinguished recognition among peers, executives and representatives across respected industries at the 29th annual event, which honors achievements in innovation.
Aseptia’s 2016 Edison accomplishment acknowledges its latest technological breakthrough, AseptiSense – a commercially available system of tools for successful process simulation, particle-flow monitoring and safety validation of complex particulate food products that are sterilized with aseptic processes. The company was recognized with a gold award in 2015 for its patented AseptiWave™ process, which uses rapid, consistent heating to produce shelf-stable foods that retain the qualities of fresh foods without preservatives or refrigeration.
