MULTIVAC, Inc. is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Frost as a Field Service Technician. Frost joins MULTVAC at a time when we are increasing the total number of Field Service Technicians to meet customer service demands and plans for future growth.
Mike Frost was previously the owner of Frost Process Equipment Technical Resources. During this time, he consulted with customers on technical issues with the purchase, upgrade and relocation of capital semiconductor equipment. Mike also worked as an Installation Engineer for Direct Source Surplus, as well as a Key Account Service Manager and a Senior Field Service Engineer for Veeco Instruments.

Jerry Burks, Regional Service Manager - Southeast said, “We are excited to have Mike join our team as we continue to grow our business and service offerings to our customers. Mike brings over 20 years of experience in mechanical and electrical knowledge that will allow him to become an immediate asset for MULTIVAC and for our customers.”

This hire is one of the many planned for 2016. By January 1, 2017, MULTIVAC plans to have 60+ Field Service Technicians in place to maintain and/or repair the more than 3,500 large, automated MULTIVAC thermoformers and traysealers in the United States.

MULTIVAC continues to develop new products and services that meet the changing needs of the packaging industry. In the past two years, regional sales offices have been opened in California and New Jersey to bring sales coverage and service closer to the customer. Another regional office is scheduled to open in North Carolina in the summer of 2016. Additionally, the U.S. headquarters is currently renovating the offices in Kansas City to include a 32,000 square-foot addition. This allows MULTIVAC to further expand upon manufacturing capabilities. The renovation will include a new, state-of-the-art innovation and demonstration area, allowing customers to have hands-on experience with new and emerging MULTIVAC equipment, as well as serving as a training facility for new and returning customers.
