Home » Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s moves to using “never-ever” antibiotic-free chicken
Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, the sister quick service restaurant (QSR) chains, have added to their all-natural arsenal with the introduction of the all-natural, charbroiled chicken fillet with no antibiotics ever. In addition to featuring no antibiotics ever, the new chicken has no artificial ingredients, no preservatives, and is now available on all of the chains’ current charbroiled chicken sandwiches at participating restaurants nationwide.
Previously, the restaurants became the first major QSR chains to introduce an all-natural, grass-fed beef burger with no added hormones, antibiotics, or steroids at Carl’s Jr. in 2014 and Hardee’s in 2015, as well as the industry’s first All-Natural Charbroiled Turkey Burger at Carl’s Jr. in 2015. The following year, they introduced the all-natural charbroiled chicken breast fillet — and today’s announcement upgrades that menu item to one with no antibiotics ever.
