Food & Drink Resources (FDR), a restaurant and food and beverage development agency, announced that Latasha Poindexter joined the FDR team as VP of Consumer Insights.

Poindexter will serve alongside Co-founders and Chefs Richard Keys and Scott Randolph and will oversee market research for multi-unit restaurant brands, food and beverage manufacturers and other consumer packaged goods companies interested in conducting market research, developing products and strengthening brands.

This partnership positions Poindexter to develop new agency clients, builds on the agency’s existing client relationships, expands FDR’s range of client services and meets the growing demand for consumer intelligence within the Denver market.

"The FDR team got to know Latasha while she was with Qdoba developing their insights division, and we are fortunate to have her developing this area of our business now," said Richard Keys, co-founder of FDR. "It’s clear Latasha has a passion for consumer insight, and we’re all eager to see where this partnership takes us."

Poindexter has experience positioning and leveraging research for a broad range of industries including foodservice, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing and transportation. Previously, she worked for such companies as Qdoba, Georgia-Pacific, Aon Hewitt, and Polaris Marketing Research. She earned her MBA with an emphasis in marketing from Clark Atlanta University.

Poindexter will work out of the Centennial, Colo.-based Food & Drink Resources Innovation Center. FDR's facility houses two full test kitchens, a test bar, meeting spaces as well as taste test booths and focus group rooms with two-way mirrors. This is where most market research for FDR clients takes place.
