Wixon, Inc., a taste solutions provider and manufacturer of seasonings, flavors and technologies, has announced new management positions.  Peter Caputa has been promoted from Chief Financial Officer to the position of Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Caputa will oversee finance, information systems, pricing, operations, supply chain and quality control. 

“Since joining WIxon in 1998, Peter has been integral to the strong growth we have enjoyed,” said CEO Peter Gottsacker, “and we are fortunate to have his leadership as we align our growth with the expectations of our customers and their consumers.”  

Patrick McGarry has been named Chief Financial Officer.  He will oversee all finance and accounting functions, and report to Peter Caputa, COO. McGarry comes to Wixon from Ernst & Young, LLP, in  San Francisco. He also worked in the accounting and finance departments at Google, Inc., and volunteers his time as a committee member for the Adult Congenital Heart Association, a national non-profit organization. 

“We are excited to add someone with Patrick’s experience as we expand our core competencies into new food segments and growth areas,” remarked Caputa, “and Patrick’s passion for growth will be an inspiration for his team.” 

McGarry, a Certified Public Accountant, holds an undergraduate degree from Xavier University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He and his wife Margaret are looking forward to moving back to their hometown of Milwaukee, Wis.
