Cooley Enterprises is hoping to open a poultry processing operation in a Gainesville, Ga., facility that was formerly home to Perdue offices and before that a King’s Delight processing plant. The site is on 11 acres of land, reports the Gainesville Times.

The Hall County Planning Commission approved the use of the building for poultry processing, but the request must be approved by the Hall County Board of Commissioners before work can begin. Cooley Enterprises says the new operation would employ between 20 to 50 employees.
