Teton Waters Ranch launches bold new flavors, vibrant packaging

By Industry News

March 1, 2018

Teton Waters Ranch, America’s leading brand of 100% grass-fed beef sausages and hot dogs, launches five new flavors and an updated look.

The bold new flavors include:

  • Hardwood Smoked Beef Sausage
  • Italian-Style Oregano & Mozzarella Mild Smoked Sausage
  • Italian-Style Crushed Red Pepper & Basil Spicy Smoked Sausage with Mozzarella
  • Classic Bratwurst Sausage
  • Cheddar Bratwurst Sausage

Teton Waters Ranch is beefing up its product offerings to keep up with high consumer demand. Retail sales of grass-fed beef in the United States have doubled each year since 2013, growing at 101 percent per year. And Teton Waters Ranch has led growth in the category, seeing an 83 percent increase in supermarket sales over the last year.

“Health conscious consumers are looking for better-for-you meat options with a clean label,” said David Rachlin, Chief Marketing Officer at Teton Waters Ranch. “We are proud to offer all natural, grass-fed beef products that are minimally processed and made with zero artificial ingredients. Best of all, they are fully cooked and heat up in 5 minutes, allowing busy families to serve a healthy meal in a hurry.”

The new flavors round out a robust product line which includes the classic Teton Waters Ranch Uncured Beef Hot Dogs, Mini Uncured Beef Hot Dogs, Polish Kielbasa Sausage, Spicy Andouille Sausage, Cheddar and Jalapeno Bratwurst and Thuringer Black Pepper and Coriander Sausage. All the products are fully cooked, gluten free and contain no Nitrites, Nitrates and no preservatives.

In addition to the five new flavors, Teton Waters Ranch is also launching vibrant new packaging that is easy to read and clearly communicates that all products are made with 100% grass-fed beef. The redesigned packaging also boasts the Certified Humane® label, which means all ranches that supply beef to Teton Waters Ranch raise cattle in accordance with strict Certified Humane® standards.

“Consumers want to know their food is humanely-raised,” said Adele Douglass, Founder and Executive Director of Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC), the certification organization for the Certified Humane® program. “Teton Waters Ranch has shown incredible commitment to sourcing its meat from ranches that uphold the highest standards in farm animal welfare, reassuring consumers they are making the right choice.”

Teton Waters Ranch has also recently become a supporter of the Savory Institute, a global non-profit dedicated to the regeneration of the world’s grasslands through Holistic Management. Through their partnership with Savory, the team at Teton Waters Ranch is embarking on a process of discovery about regenerative agriculture and the promise it holds for the farmer, the consumer and the planet when embraced and adopted at scale.

“We’re proud to partner with Teton Waters Ranch as they continue to explore best practices and desired outcomes associated with properly managed land and livestock,” said Chris Kerston of the Savory Institute.  “Through their support, Teton Waters Ranch joins us in advancing our mission to raise awareness about the promise and proven impacts of regenerative agriculture.”

Teton Waters Ranch uses only 100 percent grass-fed beef, which is better for you than beef from grain-fed cattle and is higher in beta carotene, vitamin E, calcium, potassium, magnesium, omega 3s and CLAs. Their cattle eat only grass, never grain, and are never confined to feedlots. They graze on open pasture, which helps to heal the soil and to regenerate grassland, through holistic planned grazing practices.
