Praxair Inc. announced that the company will be delivering a technical presentation and exhibiting in booth 3045 at the 91st Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference, WEFTEC 2018. The conference is being held Sept. 29 – Oct. 3 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The exhibits are open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.

Dr. Randall Marx of Praxair's research and development team will present, “Aeration Tank Odor Eliminated Through Pure Oxygen Injection Into a Jet-Aeration System” during Session 507 on Wednesday, October 3 at 9:30 AM in Room 245. Pure-oxygen aeration with equipment such as the Praxair I-SO™ in-situ oxygenator can address septic odor conditions in aeration basins by reducing emissions and restoring aerobic conditions.

Praxair’s expertise in the water and wastewater treatment industry can help water resource recovery facilities meet process challenges. This year’s exhibit will include supply and distribution methods of on-site, bulk and packaged gas products as well as processing equipment. Exhibit visitors will learn more about the company’s experience serving municipalities, providing aerobic wastewater treatment, offering oxygen plant upgrades for aging UNOXTM systems, as well as pH control with carbon dioxide and other technologies to help meet their specific water and wastewater management goals.

Additionally, attendees can meet with Praxair’s experts to discuss state-of-the-art Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) supply systems, which are capable of meeting gaseous oxygen needs from 30 to 200 tons per day. VPSA supply is a reliable and cost-effective way to supply oxygen to water treatment equipment.

“WEFTEC is one of our best opportunities to engage with current and potential customers to find ways to improve process performance and lower their costs,” said Walter Renz, associate director of business development at Praxair. “Each exhibitor has the opportunity to interact with experts in the industry, allied association members and facility operation teams to share the newest industry trends in one central location.”
