ASMI is proud to share the release of its FY2024 Annual Report, detailing a year of focused marketing, global outreach, and strategic investment to support the Alaska seafood industry. The ASMI annual report highlights resilience and global impact: the report highlighted key activities, budget, and partnerships, as well as a snapshot of current economic conditions impacting the industry.
In FY2024, ASMI executed a wide-reaching programs to maintain demand for Alaska seafood around the world. Domestic marketing campaigns promoted Alaska seafood in 36,000 retail stores and 18,000 restaurants across the US.
Digital initiatives drove measurable returns. A collaboration with Chicory delivered $156 million in attributed sales and reached over 21 million consumers, highlighting ASMI’s commitment to leveraging innovative, data-driven marketing.
ASMI-supported international promotions delivered impressive results, with returns on investment reaching up to 3,800% in Northern Europe and over 2,800% in Southeast Asia for the two case studies highlighted.
ASMI’s trade show participation and market development work generated over $47 million in immediate sales, while strengthening long-term business relationships with buyers across key global markets.
The FY2024 Annual Report reflects ASMI’s continued commitment to building global demand, providing value to harvesters and processors, and supporting the resilience of Alaska’s seafood economy.
