Cold storage warehousing provider Interstate Cold Storage is hiring Josh Schilder as the warehouse manager at the company’s Columbus II facility in Ohio.
Schilder will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations at the facility, ensuring safe, efficient and accurate handling of inbound and outbound inventory. He’ll also lead efforts to maintain high service levels while supporting ICS’s food safety and compliance standards, said ICS National Sales Manager Charles Betts.
"Josh brings a wealth of hands-on experience managing complex warehouse environments,” Betts said. “He’s led high-volume teams with precision and accountability, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to ICS. I’m confident he’ll have an immediate impact.”
Before joining Interstate Cold Storage, Schilder served as operations manager at Gardner Inc. There, he managed a 200,000-square-foot facility, directed a team of 65 employees and helped maintain an on-time fill rate of 98% or higher. He also supported operational improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
During his time at Gardner, Schilder held roles including assistant operations manager, manager of outbound operations and manager of inbound operations.
Before Gardner, he spent more than a decade at Goodwill Columbus in various leadership positions in logistics, aftermarket sales, assembly and fulfillment.
“I’m excited to step into this new role and help drive operational excellence at ICS,” Schilder said. “This facility has a great team and strong culture. I’m looking forward to building on that and continuing to support our customers with outstanding service.”
