Shrimp product provider Prime Shrimp is launching Prime Shrimp Burgers for foodservice and retail. The pre-portioned, cook-from-frozen patties feature 80% shrimp and are free from sodium tripolyphosphate.
Crafted with Pacific White Shrimp sourced from responsible aquaculture operations in Ecuador, each four-ounce shrimp burger patty contains a blend of large shrimp pieces, chopped bell pepper and Prime Shrimp’s Signature Cajun seasoning.
The new product made its direct-to-consumer debut in May 2025 with an exclusive airing on QVC, where it completely sold out during its first and second broadcasts. Since then, Prime Shrimp Burgers have maintained a high customer rating on QVC, with reviewers praising the product’s flavor, convenience and shrimp-forward texture.
“Customers have been clamoring for truly gourmet shrimp burgers for years, and we’ve finally perfected the craft,” said Davis McCool, business development supervisor at Prime Shrimp. “Certainly, there are alternate shrimp and seafood burgers on the market, but there is nothing quite like the Prime Shrimp burger, as our customers have validated. 80% shrimp with no fillers or additives goes a long way toward impressing even the finest gourmet chefs.”
In addition to its QVC placement, the Prime Shrimp Burger is available to foodservice customers through distributors including Sysco, with item number 7385448. Prime Shrimp Burger Food Service packs come with 24 in a case.
The launch of the Prime Shrimp Burger comes on the heels of a year of growth for the company in the foodservice sector as demand for labor-saving seafood solutions has surged. Prime Shrimp has expanded distribution to a variety of restaurant groups and hospitality partners seeking premium shrimp products that are easy to prepare.
All Prime Shrimp products are made in the company’s FDA-approved facility in New Orleans, where shrimp are peeled, deveined and portioned to exacting standards.
