Creekstone Farms is promoting Andrew Baltz, current senior vice president and general manager, to the role of chief operating officer. In his new role, Baltz will drive productivity and automation across plant operations, expanding the production of value-added products and future industry offerings.
“I am honored to be stepping into this role. With the industry’s dynamic markets and demand for high quality beef products, we have an opportunity to meet our customers’ requests with increased efficiency and agility to deliver premium products to consumers across the US and the world,” said Baltz.
The beef and pork industries are undergoing an unprecedented period of transformation, from navigating global trade dynamics to increased inflation and changing geo-political environments. Because of this, Creekstone Farms is committed to bringing a bold and adaptive approach to the company’s leadership, with Baltz’s promotion as the latest example of this initiative.
“Andrew has made a remarkable impact since joining Creekstone Farms—achieving production efficiency improvements while successfully leading multiple initiatives that have reshaped our production organization and capabilities,” said Yoshinobu Takahashi, president and CEO of Creekstone Farms.
Prior to joining Creekstone Farms in 2024, Baltz held several leadership positions within Tyson Foods including director of engineering and director of automation.
