Mad Genius Snack Lab is shaking up the frozen aisle with its flavor-fueled mashups, available at Walmart. The new lineup reinvents classic comfort foods like quesadillas, snack rolls and empanadas by infusing them with globally inspired flavors.

The newest brainchild of FoodStory Brands, Mad Genius was created in response to the growing appetite for flavorful snacks wrapped in attention-grabbing packaging. Gen Z and Millennials are eating about five snacks per day, and prefer snacking at home, according to Mintel Frozen Snacks Report 2024. Mad Genius' new line of frozen snacks caters to strong demand for convenient snacking.

The lineup includes Korean BBQ Quesadillas, 14 ounces, featuring seasoned beef, diced onions and cheddar cheese in a sweet and savory sauce, within a handcrafted tortilla; Cheeseburger Quesadillas, 14 ounces, featuring seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese and diced onions, tossed in a special sauce within a handcrafted tortilla; Bacon Mac & Cheese Snack Rolls, 9 ounces, featuring macaroni, smoky bacon and a blend of cheeses wrapped in a crunchy wrapper; and General Tso's Chicken Empanadas, 8 ounces, featuring white-meat chicken, broccoli, red peppers with a blend of sauces and spices, wrapped in a flaky crust.

"Mad Genius was built for a new generation that snacks hard and lives louder," said FoodStory Brands Chief Marketing Officer Jay Whitney. "We've had a blast breaking the traditional rules and custom creating a brand and an assortment that leans into the exciting culinary curiosity of today's younger generations."

Mad Genius products are available in the frozen section of more than 870 Walmart stores, with additional flavor varieties planned for 2026.
