Meat and seafood provider Rastelli’s Food Group is creating a holiday-focused retail offering program called Rastelli's Roast Program.
As consumers look to purchase holiday staples including prime rib, beef tenderloin and pork loin, Rastelli's Roast Program offers each of these as ready-to-cook, case-ready roasts.
“At Rastelli’s, we know the importance of bringing people together around great food during the holiday season,” said Ray Rastelli III, executive vice president for Rastelli’s Food Group. “We are excited to offer a variety of center plate options with hosting in-mind, giving retailers the opportunity to provide excellent main course proteins that are both affordable and convenient.”
Rastelli’s roast program offers seasoned and unseasoned packaged roasts ranging in size from 2.5 to 4 pounds. Each product line has been subject to an optimal 28-day aging and natural tenderizing process with extensive quality assurance protocols. Rastelli’s also has full product traceability within their own processing facilities using their SQF approved suppliers’ program, giving retailers the transparency needed for consumer confidence.
