FAO Global Technical Recognition certificate
The World Renderers Organization and its Technical Director Lucas Cypriano have been honored at the FAO Global Technical Recognition Ceremony for their contributions to sustainable livestock transformation and the advancement of the circular bioeconomy.
The FAO Global Technical Recognition Ceremony is part of FAO’s 80th anniversary celebration and was held during the World Food Forum. The event recognized best practices and innovative approaches from around the world that contribute to global food security, sustainable development and agrifood systems transformation. The hybrid event was held at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy, on Oct. 15, 2025.
“The recognition granted to the World Renderers Organization, alongside the publication of FAO/LEAP’s Circular Bioeconomy Guidance, represents a well-deserved and much-needed milestone. It reinforces what our sector has long known — that rendering is natural, essential, and circular. This global acknowledgment by FAO further underscores the vital role of our industry in upcycling valuable by-products and closing the loop between animal production, environmental protection, food security, and One Health,” said Cypriano.
