Rastelli Foods Group, a family-owned, vertically integrated food company, is marking its 50th anniversary by reflecting on the craftsmanship and care that shaped its beginnings while looking ahead with confidence and momentum.

Founded in 1976, Rastelli Foods Group began as a neighborhood butcher shop built on careful craftsmanship and personal service. As demand grew, Ray Rastelli, Jr. and his brother Tony focused on putting the right standards in place to support long-term growth, evolving from a single retail location into eight USDA-inspected processing facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers. That foundation continues to support responsible scale and future innovation today.

“We never tried to grow just for the sake of growing,” said Ray Rastelli Jr., founder of Rastelli Foods Group. “From the very beginning, it was about doing honest work and taking care of people. That mindset has stayed with us as the business has grown.”

Looking ahead, Rastelli Foods Group continues to build on its foundation through thoughtful expansion and product innovation. In late 2025, the company took additional steps to support what comes next, expanding its portfolio with the addition of the Botto’s Genuine Italian Sausage brand and strengthening capabilities across fresh, fully cooked, and value-added offerings.

Today, the company operates four modern meat and seafood processing facilities, along with five local distribution and e-commerce fulfillment centers serving restaurants, hotels, institutions, retail partners, military bases overseas and families nationwide. This infrastructure allows the company to remain flexible, consistent and responsive as customer needs continue to evolve.

Across the business, Rastelli Foods Group offers a broad range of premium meats, seafood, heat-and-serve items, fully cooked products and curated gift packages, supporting everything from everyday meals to special occasions. As tastes change and new opportunities emerge, the company continues to introduce new cuts, formats and preparations while staying true to the quality customers have come to expect.

“Reaching 50 years is something we’re incredibly proud of, but it’s not a finish line,” said Ray Rastelli III. “Being family-owned means thinking long-term, staying curious, and continuing to earn trust every single day.”

With multiple generations of the Rastelli family actively involved across operations, marketing, purchasing and e-commerce, Rastelli Foods Group enters its next chapter with confidence, carrying five decades of craftsmanship and care forward.
