Nashville’s Second Harvest Food Bank received its largest meat delivery of the season on Wednesday, as Tyson foods Teamed up with Kroger to drop off a semi-truck load full of chicken breasts and tenderloins, adding up to 29,000 pounds.
The donation is part of Tyson's national KNOW Hunger campaign which aims to help eliminate the problem across the country. The donation will provide more than 100,000 meals to mid-state families.
